Abstract

The article attempts to describe the range of modern research devoted to the problem of the St. Petersburg text of Russian literature, outlines the directions in which the study of the St. Petersburg text developed after the publication of fundamental research on the semiotics of the city by V. Toporov and Y. Lotman.
