Abstract

Liver cirrhosis is a chronic polyetiological progressive disease characterized by symptoms of varying degrees of liver failure and portal hypertension. Cirrhosis is one of the most urgent medical and social problems in the world. According to the latest data from the World Health Organization, deaths from liver cirrhosis are more than 1 million people a year, and deaths from liver cancer are 788,000 people [1]. lcohol abuse is an important factor in the development of liver diseases, as well as viral hepatitis B, viral hepatitis C, viral hepatitis D and E, obesity, diabetes mellitus [2]. Currently, the incidence of chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis is increasing in European countries, proof of which has been shown in our scientific research [3]
