Abstract

the article provides information about the history of the study of phraseology. In addition, the emergence of scientific-theoretical views on phraseology in world linguistics, the valuable opinions of Russian, French, and English linguists are analyzed. There are comments on the study of phraseology in Uzbek linguistics.
