Peculiarities of Training of Young Football Players

Playing football helps to develop dexterity, speed, coordination of movements, motor reaction, orientation in space. Ball games develop appropriate behavioral skills in the team, cooperation and mutuality fosters friendship based on support. They require endurance, determination, courage. Players within the same age group may present different physical and physiological profiles. This study classified young soccer players according to their physical and physiological profiles obtained during the training sessions and compared classification by age and playing position criteria.
