Abstract

This article discusses methods for solving problems in physics. It is clear that among the various physical problems there are those in which the extreme values of the required quantities are determined (the minimum coefficient of friction, the maximum angle of inclination, etc.). Therefore, ways of walking extrema are shown, and it is also said that there is a fairly universal method based on the use of differential calculus, but it is not always the simplest. Several examples have been considered.
