Production of High-Purity Molybdenum Powders Via Carbothermic Reduction

Abstract

The article gives brief description on fabrication methods of molybdenum concentrates for further production of pure molybdenum using various reduction agents like hydrogen, active metals, carbon and so on. Furthermore, in this study, from a fundamental point of view, we first considered the thermodynamic conditions for obtaining high-purity molybdenum by carbothermal reduction.
