Abstract

To date, motor neuron disease (MND) is one of the incurable diseases. All therapeutic agents are aimed at slowing down the progression of the pathological process and improving the patient's quality of life. The disease is characterized by degeneration of motor neurons in the cerebral cortex, brainstem, corticospinal tracts, and spinal cord. The result is progressive muscle paralysis.
