Abstract

This article contains information about the Middle age English literature and criticism in this period. The actuality of this given text is devoted to the study of the development of the criticism in English literature, which is one of the literary genre. The main aim of the work is to study the development of the English criticism and the explanation of the literary term and genre. The subject matter of the paper is to study the development of the Middle age English criticism genre and its role in literary text.
