The Place of Foreign Language Communicative Competence in the System of Training Future Specialists of Medical Universities

Abstract

In modern conditions of modernization of higher professional education, the priority task is the high-quality training of a specialist on the principles of a competency -based approach, which must meet the requirements of the labor market. An indicator of the quality of training a specialist is his competence and willingness to carry out professional activities, develop and improve throughout his life. To meet the expectations of employers, the main task of higher education is to develop criteria for the quality of training of specialists that make it possible to bring the learning results closer to the set of necessary professional competencies and personal qualities. So, in modern conditions of modernization of the educational industry, the main task is to form a training program for specialists on the principles of a competency -based approach, namely, the adoption of a list of necessary professional competencies as the basis for the development of educational programs.
